Digital Circles by Gerguter Digital Circles by Gerguter
*Update*

I have edited the skin so that the total skin size is smaller. I have had a couple of people who could not get it to go where they wanted. The graphics themselves are the same size. So with the new over all skin size you should be able to put it anywhere you want. Sorry for the hassle.

Gerguter

This is Digital Circles.

The circles give a visual representation of the time that is shown in the center.

Outer ring is hours.
Middle ring is minutes.
Inner ring is seconds.

Each rings moves with the time. But you probably already know that. Sorry! LoL

Ring colors and font style/colors can be easily changed to fit any theme. Just go to edit skin and look for the fonts and color codes. Just in case there are any people new to this like I am.

Anyway. This is an edit of two different skins that I then put together. A BIG THANK YOU to the original authors for making them. Links are below. Be sure to check out the originals!

Arcs - [link]

Mini Arcs - [link]

I put both because I downloaded both and got the idea from both!

BGlass - For the digital clock - [link]

Thanks again for the original work!

And thank you for stopping by and checking this out this Deviation!

Gerguter

Please let me know what you think. Any feedback would be great!

UPDATE!! - Just figured something out. If you want one or more of the rings to go counter clock wise you can. Just edit the config file. Just look for the ROUNDBAR meters and put a minus sign in front of the Rotation Angle. This will allow it line to go backward. Just in case you want to!!

Be sure to check out the Official Rainmeter Group here on deviantART! Just follow the link below!

Thanks!

For those out there who are having trouble setting it onto the top corner. I was able to figure out how to fix it! (yay~~).
= Right Click "Manage Skin"
= Make sure all boxes are unchecked except "Draggable" and "Save Position"
= Look! There's a Coordinates box!
Depending on your screen size you can fiddle with this. To position to the *TOP* you have to set a *NEGATIVE* value on the second box. The first box allows you to move it left or right (lower number values moves it to the left, higher number values moves it to the right).

Example: So I have a 14.5" laptop screen, so in order to set the clock to the Top Right corner, I set my coordinates to 1000, -125.

I hope this information is somewhat helpful for everyone. =D

Right click on the skin and you should be able to pin to desktop. Or you should be able to move to back.

I can't figure out how to change the color, there are 4 numbers but i don't get what they correspond to
Reply
:icongerguter:
Gerguter Featured By Owner Apr 4, 2012
The four numbers are the color code. The first 3 correspond to the color and the fourth number corresponds to the transparency of the colors. It is called alpha and ranges from 0-255. Do a Google search and you can find out more about the color codes.

I found the solution for the snap problem.
It was there cause you have big values for x/y and w/h so that made the total size of the skin 500x500 (although it had nothing showing at more than 200x200)

here is the updated ini:

Hello ! First off, thank you for this, its beaautiful and classy. Just what I was loooking for. Only little sad thing is that it takes too much "space". What I mean is that it cannot be lodged in the corner of my screen, even though it should be possible. So if you could edit or give the tweak to correct this, it would be "perfect". Merci l'ami !

I am not sure how this would work or be fixed on Windows 7 64bit. It was designed on an old XP machine. To be honest I do not even work on that stuff anymore. It could be a problem with the code or with Rainmeter itself. I would try reinstalling Rainmeter and see if that works.

Can you do a clock / skin based off of the other circles clock? It is a Google Widget an "experimental calendar and clock" from Forrest Oliphant. Find it here: [link]

255,0,0 would get you red. There are also other shades of red. You can follow this link to find the values.

This is a magnificent skin, I do have the problem of not being able to put it near the tops of the screen. I have tried unchecking keep on screen, but that lets it go off anywhere *but* the top. I wonder is this is a Windows 7 problem...

I can make it work though, this is great, thank you.

I unchecked "keep on screen", so it lets me drag the clock to the corner, but as soon as I let go of the mouse button it snaps away from the corner. It's kind of weird because I can keep it on the sides and bottom of the screen, but not the top. Any ideas?

It is the size of the skin. I updated that skin to make the overall size smaller. I would download the updated version and that should solve your problem.
